Role descriptions
You are responsible of significant project modules independently while working closely with clients and contribute to developing that relationship further. You carry an important role in supporting your fellow team members in their day-to-day tasks while keeping seniors in the loop. You may also assume the role of managing select projects. Being actively involved in advancing the development of your junior peers and the entire VALOR team plays an essential part in your role.
Manager: You work closely with clients as the natural first point of contact while evolving from an independent consultant towards a team leader with day-to-day ownership of both project quality and client interaction. Typically, you take the lead in project management and overseeing final deliverables while actively guiding your team. You ensure value creation to our clients by supporting the growth of your team members while actively taking guidance from principals and partners. Furthermore, you play an expanding role in growing and acquiring new business and proactively develop VALOR’s capabilities and offering. Guiding the development of your junior peers and the entire VALOR team plays an essential part in your role.
Vice President: You are managing several transaction processes simultaneously and acting as the natural first point of contact for clients on day-to-day matters during a transaction process. Directing associates and analysts and helping them excel is part of your daily job and you are working with principals to ensure top-level staffing and recruiting. You are capable of taking full quality ownership for smaller projects. Guiding the development of your junior peers and the entire VALOR team plays an essential part in your role.
You take ownership of key accounts and support teams in various projects while serving as the quality lead. You’ll grow towards playing a pivotal role in expanding and acquiring new client relationships and contribute to the overall development of VALOR in the firm’s chosen direction. As a trusted advisor to clients, you deliver original market insights and advise on a strategic level. While originating project flow for the team, you are responsible for the capacity of the entire company to meet the highest client demands, including first rate staffing and recruiting. Ultimately, you have responsibility for the quality of the team’s work as well as for the continued growth of the firm.
