Pyry joined VALOR in 2022. Previously, he has worked primarily in the energy sector, including at Neste and Fortum.
Expertise
At VALOR, Pyry has worked on projects mainly in the energy and social & healthcare sectors, focusing on strategy, operational development, and M&A. Examples of recent projects include:
- Analysing and developing the procurement of a Finnish energy company
- Advisor to buy- or sell-side in energy & infrastructure related acquisitions
- Advising a public social and healthcare operator on the improvement of sourcing operations
- Improving customer communication and cooperation of two different organizations in the healthcare industry
Education
Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management, Aalto University
Outside the Office
Pyry plays a team sport called bandy in HIFK. In addition to spending time with skates on his feet, he enjoys playing tennis, skiing down slopes or doing almost any sporty activities. Fishing with his friends at Lake Saimaa is important way for Pyry to relax outside work and sports.
